· Provide detailed calculation sheets and drawings for our scope of work.
· Observe all required safety procedures before and during work Implementation.
· The job was completed quickly and in approximately half the time specified, taking into account the highest quality standards and with high accuracy.
Engineering Concept:
· The factory began the process of replacement and renovation, and as a result, they needed to replace some glass production machines and transport and install new machines as well.
· Also, we had to remove part of the concrete slabs and beams in order to meet the new coordinates of the new machines and install steel structure instead of the concrete.
Fast Track Solution:
· In the first step, we reviewed the drawings then obtained the required approvals to start manufacturing the steel structure. We had to start this step approximately 3 weeks before the work start date.
· Skidding (shifting) the 1st machine using the hydraulic jacking system and the skidding rails underneath, and moving it out of the factory production hanger.
· For the 2nd machine, we skid (moved) it to the empty space instead of the 1st machine.
· Now we have to prepare the empty space of the 2nd machine. In order to do this, we began the process of cutting the concrete slabs and beams in this area using the Diamond Wire Saw Machines and removing the cutting output outside the production hanger first and foremost.
· After we completed the cutting stage, we began installing the approved steel structural elements such as columns, main beams, secondary beams, and all necessary reinforcements and welds.
· We prepared space of the 2nd machine according to the new coordinates and approved drawings.
· Finally, we began moving the new 3rd machine into place of the 2nd machine.
· The final step was to pour concrete around the machine to close the openings between the steel elements.
