Added Value to the Customer :
· Based on the bridge drawings and loads we prepared a detailed work methodology to represent the work steps.
· Detailed load calculation and specifying the lifting points.
· Observe all the safety standards and requirements during the work process.
Engineering Concept:
Due to the deformation that occurred to the current bridge bearings, we were asked to replace them with new ones.
In order to be able to do this, we have to first lift the concrete bridge using a heavy hydraulic jacking system.
Fast Track Solution :
· First of all, we studied the bridge loads anddrawings to determine the lifting points and determine the capacity of the jacks used.
· We had two bridge axes to lift, one of themhad 5 concrete girders. The other axis was a box section, which was the heaviest compared to the first axis.
· To start the lifting process, we had to lift axis by axis. So, we started by the first axis which has 5 bearings to change.>
· By placing each jack at its own lifting point, we carefully began the lifting process of the first axis until we reached the required height. Then a trained team began to remove the old bearing and replace it.
· Then we repeated the same process in the second axis. But only 3 bearings needed to be changed.
