Added Value to the Customer:

· Flexible adaptation to high loads and considering the sensitive situation to avoid cracks for the existed slabs during the lifting process.

· Efficient work sequences on site.

· Faster construction progress thanks to well thought-out planning and optimized deliveries.

· Safe working areas and access to all areas of operations without any additional time and effort through the compatibility of the scaffolding.

· Economic solution with system parts.

· Falsework is easy to assemble and flexible.

Engineering Concept:

Two deformed slabs connect two buildings in the Gold Mall.

The overall weight of each slab is 60-tons, and the current deflection is approximately 15cm in each slab.

We have to apply the process of lifting the 60-tons slab without causing any failure of slab itself or any slab under it.

The required lifting height is 20cm, to set the slab to the original position we have to lift it 15cm plus 5cm to take into account that normal deflection will occur after casting and formwork removal.

Fast Track Solution:

· Detailed implementation planning.

· A 60cm concrete width at the middle of each deformed slab to be removed, to allow us to apply the lifting process.

· Efficient shoring concept for the transfer of high loads at great heights.

· Comprehensive project solution using Heavy Steel Towers, Hydraulic Jacking System & Back Propping System:

1.Heavy Steel Towers to support the jacks and provide forces equilibrium. And the delivery

of the elements as pre-assembled units.

2.hydraulic operation:

A) Hydraulic Jacking System in use. According to our design and calculations we needed a number of 20-tons capacity jacks.

B) We placed jacks with the suitable capacity on the Heavy Steel Towers.

C) Then we start the lifting process until reaching the required height, which return the deformed slab to the right position.

D) It’s mandatory to watch the slab’s edge to ensure that no more than hair cracks happened.

3.Back Propping System (H-Frames with special grid sizes) in use to avoid any slabs failure

due to the high applied loads during the lifting process.

· After we finished the lifting process, we casted the 60cm slice. And we took measures to make sure that the slab now is at the correct position.

· Smooth operation with high safety standards in consideration.

· Fast Track supervision during all phases of the solution.

Systems in use:

· Heavy Steel Towers.

· Hydraulic Jacking System.

· Back Propping System.
