Engineering Concept:

Lifting the concrete bridge using a heavy-duty hydraulic jacking system to be able to replace the deformed bridge bearings with new bearings .

Fast Track Solution:

· We provided a complete study of the bridge loads and determined the lifting points.

· There were deformed bearings along the two axes of the bridge, each axis having 8 bearings that needed to be replaced.

· We began the process of lifting the axes (one axis after another) by placing each lifting jack at its own lifting point, and the lifting was carried out until we reached the required height that allowed the bearing to be removed safely. After that, a trained team removed the old bearing and replaced it with the new one.
