Added Value to the Customer:
· A conclusive complete solution for Skidding, Lifting and safety as well as services such as the full design … etc..
· Flexible adaptation to high loads and complex structural geometry.
· Detailed working rhythm definition.
· Considerable time and cost benefits through the optimized implementation method.
Engineering Concept:
Due to the environmental obstacles, one side of the bridge is water and the other side is a railway bridge. Therefore, to install the 400-tons steel bridge over the two water channels we can use the skidding (sliding) method.
However, to reach the appropriate installation coordinates using the skidding method, you need first a lateral displacement movement of 2.00m then the main required longitudinal movement begins, which is 60.00 m.
The bridge will move as a cantilever between temporary supports (Special heavy Steel towers).
Fast Track Solution:
· Combined use of the Skidding System and the Hydraulic Jacking System (jacks capacity up to 150 ton).
· With the Skidding System, it is possible to install the Steel Bridge on temporary supports (Special heavy Steel towers) without need for rails. The Bridge is placed on two Teflon-coated skidding tracks and then pushed onto the temporary support by help of the Hydraulic jacking System.
· Time and cost savings due to choosing this method (skidding and Hydraulic Jacking) among other options while considering high safety standards.
· Increased productivity as a result of effective planning of the work environment at the in addition to the good distribution of tasks, knowing that the working conditions were difficult.
· Continuous coordination of all the work processes through a Fast Track project manager on site.
Systems in use:
· Skidding System.
· Hydraulic Jacking System.
· Heavy Steel Towers.
