H-Frame System

The frame system is the most widely used system in Falsework and Scaffolding works in Egypt. This system is specifically designed for easy and quick assembly with minimum supervision requirements without the urgent need for skilled workers.

Advantages of Frame System:

1- Achieve desired heights and rigidity with a small number of components.

2- Easy and fast assembly.

3- No Need for Skilled Workers. 

Application of Frame System: 

1- Used for slab falsework.

2- Used for façade scaffolding.

3- Used for mobile and fixed access towers.

Components of Frame System:

1. Frame:

It is manufactured of a 48.3mm outer diameter tube with 2.00mm, 2.50mm, and 3.00mm thickness. Frames are available in different sizes (2m*1m) (1.5m*1m) (1m*1m) (0.5m*1m). The Standard safe working load is up to 2.25 tons per leg.

2. Cross Brace:

It is used to resist lateral loads and tie the frames. Cross Brace is made of a tube with a thickness of 2.00mm. They come in different lengths (from 0.6 m to 3 m).

3. Adjustable U head:

It is made of a U-shaped steel plate 150 *170 mm with 90mm height with a thickness of 4 mm. The screw jack is available in two types (Hollow and solid) with a diameter of 36mm and 600mm length. It provides support for primary Beams. To install it, we insert it into the top of the standards and screw controls to the required height.

4. Adjustable Base Jack:

It is made of a steel plate 150 *150 mm with 6mm thickness. To install it, we insert it into the bottom of the standards and screw controls to the required height.

5. Sheeting:

It is the part in contact with concrete and controls the smoothness of the surface. It can be plywood or timber.

6. Secondary beams:

It transfers the load from the slab to the main beam. It can be from timber, steel, or aluminum according to the availability and the applied loads in some cases.

7. Main beams:

It transfers load from sec beams to standard throughout the U Head. It can be from timber, steel, or aluminum according to the availability and the applied loads in some cases.

8. Tubes:

It connects frames in two directions along frame towers and perpendicular to frames. The tube's diameter is 48.3 mm and its thickness is 2.5mm and 3mm with different lengths (from 1m and up to 6m).

9. Coupler:

We use it to connect tubes with standards.

It came in two different sizes (1.5*1.5ˋˋ) or (1.5*2ˋˋ)

And two different types (Double & Swivel)

Double coupler: connects Tube & Standard with 90 degrees.

Swivel coupler: connects them with inclined degrees.
